FREE Bring & Share/Swap Culture Club + Market Event where we got together to share, swap and celebrate some great community cooking featuring YUMMY bite-sized finger foods!
We tried out a swap and trade system, using tokens, not money in this bazaar event. Some people came as a “Chef “with offerings to share or swap, and others simply came and ‘bought’ or enjoyed some bites with tokens we provided.
We suggested that people brought any foods that are SMALL, self-contained, easy-to-eat, and require no utensils (or packaging). Bonus points if they come with a super tasty story! Extra bonus points if they’re made with LOVE! We though people might bring things like slider burgers, spring + summer rolls, pastry parcels, stuffed buns, falafels, tarts or quiches, savoury doughnuts, bhajis, cupcakes, cookies, maki rolls, veggie nuggets, cheesey spirals, dumplings (by any name and origin), bruschetta, mini-crostata, mini-pretzel dogs, mini-calzones, mini-anythings!
We were so excited to see what MIGHTY TASTY TINY DELIGHTS the talented chefs in our community cooked up!
