We are very excited to have run our first Community Feast at Stoke Youth & Community Centre in Blockhouse Park! This was a great opportunity to get together, share food and good company. There were also be some spring themed arts & crafts activities on hand for kids and grown-ups too, and it proved to be a fun day for all.
At the Potluck Feast, people from the community prepared and brought some of their favourite food & drink to share with others. If people didn’t feel like cooking, they could also simply come along to enjoy the spread. Everyone got stuck in to create an amazing range of food, to help with the washing up and pack down.
We got to use the plates we had made together at the previous Culture Club – Plate Making session, and Vicky Putler joined us to show us her Flax Corn Dollies to invite us to her workshops next week.

This event was supported by the Growing The Village Hub project (in partnership with Take A Part, and co-funded using money from the National Lottery by Arts Council England, Heritage Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund).
