How is The Village Hub run?

The Village Hub is a Charitable Community Benefit Society which was set up by local people in Stoke & Morice Town in 2020.

Being a Community Benefit Society means that we are a registered, not-for-profit social enterprise runs its activities to benefit the wider community (not just its members).

We have ~200 members who are invited to our Annual General meeting every year, and a Board of Directors who all live in the local area.

On a day-to-day basis, we do things a bit differently. The staff team at The Village Hub don’t have a Chief Executive or Managing Director who tells us what to do.

Instead we have a flat-line structure. This means each Team member has their own roles and responsibilities, and we meet together to make decisions, solve problems and make sure we are following The Village Hub strategy.
