Andrea
You’ll usually find Andrea in the Hub on a Mon, Tues & Thurs. You’ll often find her behind the til or sorting out the shelves of the Food Larder.
Aaron
Aaron works behind-the-scenes on finances, logistics, and IT issues. As Diverse Events CIC he co-organised the Stoke Village Fun Day.
Diane
Diane is usually in the Hub on a Wed & Thurs. If you get one of our newsletters or see our social posts, it will probably have been sent by her!
Jade
Jade is our story-collector, helping to work out what we’re learning. She also works behind-the-scenes on fundraising & governance.
Karen
Karen is usually at The Village Hub on Fridays. You’ll quite often find her litter-picking, gardening in the Village Square. She also makes all of our payments and keeps and eye on finaces and fundraising.
Lisa
Lisa is usually at The Village Hub on Mondays and Wednesdays. Speak to her if you are struggling with money, debt, benefits, energy, housing or food access.
Nichola
You’ll usually meet Nichola on Tuesdays, holding a crochet hook and supporting our Crochet Group, and chatting with people who drop-in to The Village Hub.
Rachel
Rachel works with The Village Hub on different creative projects, so you’re most likely to meet her at events, activities or workshops.
Our volunteers
The Village Hub’s staff team is joined by a whole host of local volunteers who give their time and skills to benefit the community. You’ll often meet our volunteers during Drop-In sessions, or through different community activities and events.
As a Charitable Community Benefit Society, we have a Board Of Directors. The Board oversee all of our operations, ensuring that The Village Hub benfits the community (in line with our strategy) and manages its legal and financial responsibilities.
Any member can stand for election to be on the Board of Directors – these elections usually happen at the AGM each October. If you’d like to know more, get in touch with us!
