Art
Creativity is important to us at The Village Hub. We love finding new ways to encourage creativity in Stoke and Morice Town, and try to be creative in our approaches to working in our local community.
We support community members to lead groups focussed around their interests – including a regular Art Group, Writing Group & Squat Theatre. Local residents and creative folks can approach us with ideas to run workshops or events, trips they’d like to organise, or new ideas they’d like help with.
From Autumn 2021 – Autumn 2022, we have been working on a project called Growing The Village Hub, which focusses on growing creativity in our neighbourhood and helping people find new ways to make connections between people, creativity, heritage and our local green space at Blockhouse Park.
